March & April 2008SOCIAL COMMITTEE Forty one of our Chardonnay residents enjoyed the Social Committee sponsored Valentine Dinner on Friday, February 8th, 2008. The fare was either fried cod or roast beef accompanied by a tossed salad, green beans, mashed potatoes and rolls from Remke Catering. The meal was topped off with a yummy Cherry Cobbler Cake and a no sugar added dessert provided by the Social Committee members. All this wonderful food was washed down with coffee, tea, wine and water.
The next Social Committee event will be the Derby Party on Saturday, May 3rd. The current Social Committee members are: Pat Rummel, Chairman, Pat Bibbins, secretary, Lola Bennett, treasurer, Anne Hemmingway, Janet Krebs, Dolores Von Handorf (as health permits), Bob Wheeler and Betty Ann Freemal. The Social Committee can always use more help! We have lots of activities planned for later this year and hope that more of you will join our team. We have a good time and our entire community benefits from the efforts of this group. Contact Lola or any other Committee member to learn what is involved! |

To all our friends and neighbors here at Chadonnay, a big thanks goes out for your cards, kind thoughts and prayers we received with the passing of Dave’s step-father. We all need each other in times such as this and our community is the greatest of them all. Your kindness was greatly appreciated. Dave and Nancy Trowbridge ********** To my Chardonnay friends, I would like to thank everyone for the cards, calls and especially for the prayers during my recent illness.
